There are cafeterias at every EK location
The cafeterias are operated by Compass Group. The shared goal of EK and Compass Group is to ensure that the meals served in the cafeterias are appealing, nutritious, and aligned with the official dietary guidelines for health and sustainability.
The cafeterias should be the natural choice for students, staff, and visitors alike.
Cafeteria opening hours
Breakfast: 07:30-08:30
Lunch: 11:00-13:30
Empty the buffet: 13:40-14:00
Cafeteria selection
There are different concepts across EK’s cafeterias. In addition, all cafeterias offer a core range of products and services:
Student meal
A plant-based meal available for both breakfast and lunch at fixed, affordable prices. In the morning, a simple and welcoming selection is offered, including freshly baked rolls, yogurt, muesli, and hot beverages. At lunchtime, students can enjoy an appealing and delicious green meal, filling their bowl with the dish of the day and choosing their own toppings.
Grab‘n’Go
A selection of grab-and-go items is available throughout the day, including skyr, buttered rolls (BMO), paninis, sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
Beverages and snacks
All cafeterias offer a standard range of beverages and snacks, ensuring that you can always find something sweet, savory, and convenient for an afternoon break.
Self-service panini-grill
A self-service panini grill is available at all campuses. The grill makes it easy to prepare a hot meal in just a few minutes.
