Student ID Card
When you start at EK, you will receive a digital student ID card. If you are studying at a former KEA location, you will also need a physical student ID card.
All students have access to a digital student ID via the My Education app. However, at certain locations, the physical card is required for building access.
Digital Student ID
You can find your digital student ID in the My Education app.
Physical Student ID
The physical card is used for printing and for entering buildings at Prinsesse Charlottes Gade, Guldbergsgade, Frederikkevej, Lygten, and Hillerød Milnersvej. It is important to bring your card with you every day.
To get your student ID card you must upload a photo at mit.ek.dk/studiekort. It is easiest to take a photo with your smartphone and upload it directly.
Do not store your student ID card near your phone, as this can damage the card's chip.
Order your student ID card at mit.ek.dk/studiekort
You will receive an email from your campus reception when the card is ready. Pick up your card at the reception between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM (Monday–Friday).
If You Have Problems With Your Card
If your card stops working, visit your campus reception or email reception@ek.dk for assistance.
If your card has expired or you have lost it, you can order a new one at mit.ek.dk/studiekort by uploading a new photo. You must also email servicedesk@ek.dk immediately so the old card can be deactivated.
