Special Educational Support (SPS)
Do you have a functional impairment such as dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, post-concussion symptoms, back pain from a herniated disc, impaired vision, or deafness? If so, you have the opportunity to apply for aids and other forms of support for your education through the SPS scheme.
The purpose of SPS is to compensate for the challenges your impairment presents in relation to your studies. The types of support that can be granted through SPS therefore depend on your specific functional impairment.
You can read more about the various aids and forms of support on the website for the National Office for Special Educational Support (Kontor for Specialpædagogisk Støtte).
Apply for SPS
You are encouraged to apply for SPS as soon as you know you have been admitted to a program at EK. During the start of the semester, processing times can be longer than usual.
When applying for SPS, you must provide documentation of your functional impairment.
