Group Rooms

Together with your fellow students, you can use EK's group rooms for various study activities, such as group work, meetings, reading groups, etc., at selected locations. 

There are group rooms at the following addresses: 

  • Prinsesse Charlottes Gade 
  • Guldbergsgade 

To book a room: 

  1. Log in to the Service Portal using your EK-login. 
  2. Select: My Service Portal > New Reservation > Book a room. 

If you haven’t booked the group room, you are still welcome to use it. However, please remember to vacate the room if a fellow student arrives who has a confirmed booking. 

Rules for using the group rooms

At EK, it is considered good practice to only book the time you actually need, so you don’t block the group rooms for your fellow students. 

Additionally, the following rules apply: 

  • Punctuality: If you are not in the room within the first half hour of your booking's start time, the reservation is no longer valid, and the room becomes open for others to use.
  • Cleanliness: Always leave the room as you would like to find it—take all trash and personal belongings with you when you leave.
  • Access: The rooms may only be used by EK students. Staff cannot use or book them.
  • Availability: These rooms are only available at specific locations.

Open Learning Spaces

Open Learning Spaces

There are plenty of Open Learning Spaces around EK's different locations. You and your group can always use these spaces. Open Learning rooms can also be used as classrooms, and this use will be prioritized over independent study.

It’s important to remember to clean up after yourself and keep the areas neat and tidy. This is especially important in Open Learning areas near the labs, where cleaning staff must be able to do their work properly.
