AI - Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI), such as ChatGPT and similar chatbots and programs, can generate text, images, and code.

Rules regarding AI

As a student, you are always responsible for how you use statements and data from AI in your academic work. EK recommends approaching AI with reflection and critical thinking, as AI can generate false or incorrect information.

If you use AI tools in an assignment, you must remember to provide correct references.

You must also be aware that you may not enter, for example, trade secrets or sensitive personal data into an AI system. Confidential or sensitive information must be removed before you save it or ask an AI tool to analyse it.

You can get guidance at the EK Library

You should also be aware that it may be considered exam cheating if, for example, you do not have proper control of your references - that is, if they are incorrect or incomplete.
